More and more smart home devices are entering the market.
It would be nice to have one control center for all the stuff, requiring to have one common protocol to talk to the different devices.

Is that better than having a robot?
Robot butler dreams may become more true soon. Maybe it will take still a few robot generations to become a real helpful alternative or better a supporting device for home work.
Providing support for health care is also an option, of course.

Social scoring kann dramatische Auswirkungen haben.
Voraussetzung für ein Scoring sind Algorithmen für die Vorhersagen, was in Zukunft basierend auf den Daten passieren wird. Manche Zukunftsforscher behaupten, dass sich bald alles nur noch um Vorhersagen dreht. Big Data ist dazu der erste notwendige Schritt.
Mögliche Folgen im wirklichen Leben werden auf dem Netzpolitik Blog schön beschrieben. Ob ein neues Recht dafür ausreichend ist, bezweifle ich.
Der Vorreiter bei dieser Technologie ist China, aber auch andere Länder wie Iran und Ägypten importieren die Technology dafür.
Ein mögliches Scenario wird auch sehr schön in der Episode „Abgestürzt“ (Staffel 3, Folge 1) von „Black Mirror“ auf Netflix dargestellt.
Wenn so unsere Zukunft in 2030 aussieht, na dann viel Spass!
